Katherine Labadie is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, where she studied dance under the direction of Sara Rudner and John Jasperse. A native of New Orleans, Katherine grew up training at the Schramel Conservatory of Dance and the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. She has attended the American Dance Festival, as well as summer intensives at Ballet Austin and Walnut Hill School for the Arts. While in school, Katherine performed in dance festivals in Manhattan and Brooklyn, New York with Alaina Wilson Dance and Catherine Eng. Upon graduating, Katherine danced with New Orleans’ own Marigny Opera Ballet for their 2019-2020 season. Katherine currently dances with Ellevate Dance Company and teaches at the Schramel Conservatory of Dance.
